TPA #12 : Red, Warth & Blue

Welcome to [B]Episode Twelve of The Prep Area[/B]!  Hosts RJ ([B]RJRETRO[/B]) and Patrick ([B]Shadowmeld[/B]) have two teams with a common character: the Rare Warth from War of Light!

First, we show you "Wonderdead".  This team involves some heavy trapping, and should be a ton-o-fun to play!

Secondly, we tackle the Heroic mechanic with a team we called "Hope & Liberty".  Warth and Captain America teaming up?  Better believe it!

TPA # 011: Destruction vs. Fear

Welcome to [B]Episode Eleven of The Prep Area[/B]!  Hosts RJ ([B]RJRETRO[/B]) and Patrick ([B]Shadowmeld[/B]) are back with another evil episode -- this one focusing on two team based around two MONSTERS.  Makes sense that we call this Destruction vs. Fear, hm?

"Destruction" is based around the uncommon Tarrasque from the D&D set.  Maybe you expected the common or maybe you expected the Super Rare.  Nope.

The main event team is "Fear", based around the common Parallax from the brand-new War of Light set coming out this week!

[b]Shadowmeld[/b] will also take you into his laboratory to show you another evil combo, and [b]IsaacBV[/b] returns to continue his "The Transition Zone" segment to help you become more of a competitive player.

TPA # 010: Super Starhawk

Welcome to [B]Episode Ten of The Prep Area[/B]!  Hosts RJ ([B]RJRETRO[/B]) and Patrick ([B]Shadowmeld[/B]) are weekly!  Shadowmeld had a quick turn-around this week, but boy, did he bring the goods!

We've built two teams built around the rare Starhawk from the Age of Ultron set.  First, our economy team is called "Guardians", which features many a character from the hit blockbuster film.  Secondly, we are debuting Swarmhawk -- a team that hits super hard, and super fast.  It's a lot-o-fun.

[B]Necromanticer[/B] is back with "Off the Meta", featuring a character that doesn't get much love, Juggernaut!  Also, [b]Isaac continues his "Transition Zone" segment which looks at improving your game.

TPA # 009: Masks, Masks & More Masks!

Welcome to [B]Episode Nine of The Prep Area[/B]!  Hosts RJ ([B]RJRETRO[/B]) and Patrick ([B]Shadowmeld[/B]) are going weekly!  Come along for the ride!  This week, we have two teams matching our theme -- "Maskers of Manipulation" and "Merry Masks and Pippin"!  [b]JT[/b] did a masks team last week, while we did an undead theme last week, so this week he is doing an undead team based on the Care Bears!  (Or the villains, anyway...)

TPA # 008: Six Feet Under

Welcome to Episode Eight of The Prep Area!  Hosts RJ (RJRETRO) and Patrick (Shadowmeld) are doing a special Hallowe'en episode... but not really.  The theme this week is "Six Feet Under", and our two teams involve "The Walking Dead" and "Zombie Society of America"!  Yes, we attempted to use one of the most useless affiliations in the game, and tried to make it fun.

Necromanticer joined in the fun by discussing Deadman and Black Canary during his "Off the Meta" segment, and Dice Masters Drill Sergeant Rodd of Nor wants to help you survive the zombie apocylypse.

Isaac debuts his new segment entitled "The Transition Zone" which will help you make the transition from casual to competitive, and 2015 Canadian Dice Masters National Champion JT will provide a Little Cup team he calls "Mini Masquerade".

TPA # 007: Bad Choices / Sidekick Control

Welcome to Episode Seven of The Prep Area!  Hosts RJ (RJRETRO) and Patrick (Shadowmeld) are here to help you annoy your opponent, and also take control of all their sidekicks.  The economy team this week is called "Bad Choices", while the main event team is entitled "Sidekick Control".  We want to help you make your opponent's brain explode after they realize regardless of what choice they make, it's one that will slowly destroy them.  In the main event, we provide a constructed team that debuts a new form of ramp -- something that might almost be as viable as PXG.

Now permanent co-host JT -- who is also the 2015 Canadian Dice Masters National Champion -- joins us to debut a Little Cup team (help us come up with a name!) based around Dragons and other stuff.  IsaacBV created his first-ever Little Cup team, and the theme this week: Illuminati!

Finally, Necromaticer takes a look at Harley Quinn from the DC set for "Off the Meta", and Shadowmeld also debuts a new segment called "Shadowmeld's Laboratory".  Finally, Dice Masters Drill Sergeant Rodd of Nor is back as a regular contributor to talk "tournament snacks".
